The next in the Riverathon is another novella.
There’s trouble on The Underground, again… and we find ourselves in the company of Sergeant Jaget Kumar once more.
Commuters are regularly being interfered with on the morning commute but by a supernatural force that makes them forget the incident very quickly.
With the help of Abigail and Toby it becomes apparent that they are dealing with a ghost.
Again we start to get a hint of the edges of Peter’s growing magical power but also what potential Abigail has (she is to me the most interesting character in the series so far).
Throw The Faceless Man and Leslie in for good measure and this short volume packs a big punch.
Got to say though, the sooner the Faceless Man arc is over the better…
What I love about this one is the way that it expands the lore of ‘practitioners’ and how though they were all part of one society they all actually went their own merry way.
Well paced and gripping throughout another good read in the series.
